As both a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master Clinician of Nutrition Response Testing, Dr. Elizabeth (Trindade) Miller uses her knowledge to help alleviate the physical symptoms of her patients’ ailments, and to correct the underlying cause. She has found that combining treatment and education results in a better short-term outcome and lifelong wellness for her patients.
Her desire to help others through chiropractic began when she saw the positive results of treatment for her brother’s recurrent ear infections, and she credits more than 40 years of chiropractic care for her personal health and wellness.
Dr. Miller earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Chiropractic study from Western Michigan University, then moved to Atlanta to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University School of Chiropractic. She worked as a chiropractic assistant, and as an independent contractor at Douglasville Wellness & Chiropractic Center for two years before starting Trindade Chiropractic Center in 2003.
In 2005, Dr. Miller purchased Historic Roswell Chiropractic, which has developed an enthusiastic and satisfied following of patients. Dr. Miller soon recognized that patients with better nutrition habits experienced a greater response to chiropractic care, so she pursued a course of study in nutrition to enhance her practice. She is an Applied Clinical Nutritionist (ACN) and a graduate of the Advanced Clinical Training program of Nutrition Response Testing, one of only 299 masters of the technique in the country.
As a result of her attention to the overall health of each patient, Historic Roswell Chiropractic has received the Readers’ Choice Award for Favorite Chiropractor 2006 through 2011 by Around About North Fulton and Roswell Magazines. She continues to educate her patients and the community through workshops and seminars. She has written articles on chiropractic health and nutrition since 2001, and she is active in her state chiropractic association. In 2013, after having her daughter, she moved the practice to the current location and updated the name to Smart Health to reflect all the services she provides.
Currently, she offers chiropractic care, Nutrition Response Testing, and spinal decompression therapy. Once per month, a mobile thermography and ultrasound company is on site for patients who want to take advantage of those services. Dr. Miller lives in Woodstock with her husband, John, their daughter, Adaline, and their bearded dragon, James. The family is active and loves hiking, biking, canoeing, and spending time in nature.
